Dolly

In 1995, inspired by her father's inability to read or write, Dolly Parton launched Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to foster an early love of reading and learning in her hometown.  Since then, the Imagination Library has become the preeminent early childhood book-gifting program in the world.  The Imagination Library mails more than 2.5 million high-quality, age-appropriate books directly to children's homes each month!

Each child enrolled in the program receives one book per month from birth to age five - at no cost to families.

To enroll you simply have to live in the Sun River Electric Cooperative's service area and register using one of the following methods:

Eight to 10 weeks after registration, your child's first book will arrive at your home and will continue until your child turns five, or you move out of the SREC service area.

Dolly envisioned creating a lifelong love of reading and inspiring children to Dream More, Learn More, Care More and Be More®.
