I – 10 – IRRIGATION
SUN RIVER ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE, INC.
EFFECTIVE FOR 2012 IRRIGATION SEASON
TYPE OF SERVICE:
Single phase or three phase, 60 cycles, at available secondary voltage.
AVAILABILITY:
Available to all members, upon application, where the cooperative's line facilities are adequate, or can feasibly be made adequate, for irrigation pumping. Sun River Electric's season is considered to extend from April 20th to October 10th.

PURCHASED POWER RIDER:
Members in this rate class are also subject to the Purchase Power Rider. For more information, see PPR (Purchased Power Rider).
MINIMUM CHARGE FOR 2012 IRRIGATION:
The horsepower charge will be $19.00 per year per nameplate horsepower of connected load. In no event will the minimum charge be less than $276.00 plus the nameplate horsepower of connected load for single phase service and $348.00 plus the nameplate horsepower of connected load for three phase service.
METHOD OF PAYMENT:
Minimums must be paid in advance of irrigating with the following exception: If the member wishes he/she may furnish the cooperative with an irrevocable letter of credit payable to the cooperative on demand at the end of the irrigation season.

The annual minimum will be the base rate plus the horsepower charge.
The horsepower charge will be $19.00 per year per nameplate horsepower of connected load. In no event will the minimum charge be less than $276.00 plus the nameplate horsepower of connected load for single phase service and $348.00 plus the nameplate horsepower of connected load for three phase service.
METHOD OF PAYMENT:
Minimums must be paid in six equal monthly payments beginning in April; all overages are due and payable in November. In the event that the annual minimum has not been used the amount paid, less usage above $348.00 will be subject to refund, transfer or applied to subsequent year's contract, at member’s option. If the member does not express preference, the credit will be held over to the following year’s contract.

AVAILABILITY:
Because this tariff requires that Sun River Electric install additional equipment, enrollment may be limited.
MINIMUM CHARGE:
All energy billed monthly during the irrigation season according to usage.
METHOD OF PAYMENT:
Readings will be received electronically each month with statements generated and mailed on or before the 15th of each month. Payments will be due upon receipt of statement and past due after the last day of that month.
IRRIGATION METERING:
All irrigation accounts will be metered on a non-demand basis.
POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT:
The consumer agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable. At the option of the cooperative the power factor and KW demand of the consumer shall be measured and the monthly bills adjusted. Such adjustment shall be made by increasing the bills by 1% of each 1% by which the average power factor is less than 95% lagging. At the request of the cooperative the consumer agrees to apply corrective measures to his load to bring the average power factor to 95% lagging, or higher.
